This marks the final installment of our 1969 Chevy C50 ramp truck project. If you recall, this is the truck that we traded Big Red and a wad of cash for. We've put a lot of work into this ride including a complete wiring job, new front suspension, new brakes, a restored engine compartment and most importantly, a new Weiand 6-71 supercharger and dual Holley Double Pumper carbs. Now, we make her even more street friendly with the addition of a fresh 14-bolt rear axle from the dudes at Quick Performance. This axle has all he goodies for freeway flying and maximum wheelspeed burnouts; it's stuffed with a Yukon Grizzly locker, 35 spline axles, new seals and bearings throughout, and a 3.55:1 ring and pinion gearset. We swapped axles right before making an 800 mile trip to Florida to pick up a pile of parts and a Toyota Mini-Truck from our friend Steve Shaw. This truck will become Newbern's next project, which I'm sure you'll see on this channel at some point. Thanks for watching.
