Kvartopirec je žrtev nasilnega ropa sredi belega dne. Ekipa na policijski postaji najprej tava v temi, saj ima le bežne indice o napadalcu. Nato pa Luka odkrije sled, ki s trdim delom vseh vpletenih počasi pripelje do konkretnih rezultatov. Vse kaže na ljudi, ki jih Ferdo dobro pozna iz nekih drugih časov. Ferdo pa ni edini, ki se mora soočiti in sprijazniti s preteklostjo.
A card player is the victim of a violent robbery in broad daylight. The team at the police station first wanders in the dark, as it has only fleeting clues about the attacker. Then Luka discovers a trail that, with the challenging work of everyone involved, slowly leads to concrete results. Everything points to people Ferdo knows well from some other times.
