Tejal forgives him after he claims that he cannot live without her. Nikhilesh and Binoy vow to convince Sanyukta to accept Tejal as her daughter-in-law. However, Sanyukta refuses to give Tejal another chance even after learning the truth. Nikhilesh rebukes her for disregarding Aniket’s feelings.
Tejal's family is hopeful about Nikhilesh's vow to convince Sanyukta to accept Aniket and Tejal's relationship. Tejal is worried that Sanyukta will not give her the right to address her as mother once again. Sanyukta arranges a meeting between Aniket and Anushka. Nikhilesh fights with Sanyukta for not considering Aniket's happiness and accepting Tejal as her daughter-in-law. Aniket plans to tell Tejal about Anushka's visit but Nikhilesh stops him.
Anushka and her mother are disappointed to learn that Aniket is a door to door salesman. Anushka admits to Nikhilesh that she wants to marry Aniket for his family's wealth and reputation. Sanyukta rejects her wedding proposal after learning the truth. Tejal tells Aniket that they should breakup as Sanyukta will not approve on their relationship and be unhappy with their marriage. She tries to hide her heartbreak from her family, but they come to know of her breakup with Aniket.
Nikhilesh vows to make Tejal his daughter-in-law with or without Sanyukta's consent. In turn, Sanyukta refuses to be a part of Aniket's marriage. Tejal gets rid of her Punjabi dresses and reverts to her old lifestyle. Sanyukta and Nikhilesh tell their family to give their opinion on Tejal and Aniket's wedding. The family members are put in a difficult situation of choosing sides. Shashwat blames Aniket for Sanyukta and Nikhilesh's tiff. Aniket informs Nikhilesh about his breakup with Tejal.

She tells her to forget him and meet another prospective groom. Similarly, Nikhilesh lies to Aniket that Tejal is getting married in a temple the next day. He tells Aniket to get ready for his engagement to Anushka. Aniket and Tejal decide to return the gifts they had given each other during their courtship.
Nikhilesh keeps Aniket away from Sanyukta and Sushila to safeguard his plan. He and Binoy lie to Aniket that Tejal is getting married to someone else. Aniket goes to the temple to stop her wedding. Likewise, Lalita lies to Tejal that Aniket is getting married to Anushka. Tejal goes to the temple to stop the wedding. The two of them meet in the temple and realize that they cannot live without each other. They are surprised to learn that Nikhilesh had planned their reunion.
Nikhilesh and Binoy choose hall decorations for Aniket's wedding. The rest of the family refuses to help them with the wedding arrangement. Nikhilesh gives the first invitation card to Sanyukta but she refuses to take a look at it. She fights with him for printing her name on the card. Binoy fights with Sushila for siding with Sanyukta and not supporting Aniket and him. Aniket shows the invitation card to Tejal and Vaibhavi.
Aniket is confident that Sanyukta will attend his wedding. Shashwat mocks him and promises to print his wedding news in the front page of his newspaper if Sanyukta attends the wedding. Sanyukta helps him salvage the food before serving it to the guests. She and Forum get ready for a society function but they are prevented from leaving the house due to the arrival of the guests. Tejal seeks Sanyukta's blessing but Shashwat pulls her away. Forum participates in the function to save her family's reputation.
Foram participates in Aniket's haldi rasam. Sanyukta gets ready for a community wedding but the guests prevent her from leaving the house during the haldi rasam. Sanyukta sprains her ankle on the day of Aniket’s sangeet. Sushila performs in the sangeet on her behalf. Nikhilesh feels guilty for calling Sanyukta a liar. Shashwat criticizes him for compelling Sanyukta to participate in the haldi rasam and sangeet. Tejal apologizes to him for breaking his hand. Aniket, Tejal and the rest of the Majumdar family are shocked to learn about Shashwat and Monikangana’s sudden marriage. Nikhilesh accuses Sanyukta of arranging Shaswat’s wedding to avoid attending Aniket’s wedding.
Shashwat taunts Aniket and Tejal because Sanyukta had attended his wedding instead of theirs. In order to prevent Tejal from getting ready for the function on time, Monikangana tells her to decorate the house with oil lamps. She sets fire to a curtain to get Tejal in trouble just as Sushila and Sanyukta come home with the guests. Tejal accidentally pours water on the guests while trying to put out the fire. Sanyukta is offended when the guests think that she had made Tejal clean the house.
Sanyukta and the women bless Monikangana on the auspicious occasion of mooh dikhai rasam. Sanyukta becomes furious at Sushila for bringing Tejal to the ceremony. Some women gossip about the Majumdar family. Unaware of Sanyukta's presence, Tejal rebukes them. The guests leave as they feel insulted. Sanyukta becomes furious at Sushila rather than Tejal. Aniket becomes shocked on learning about the happenings. Sushila stops Aniket from confronting Sanyukta.

Monikangana fills milk in a water bottle and drinks it in secret. Shashwat finds out that she had broken her fast before the puja. Monikangana puts washing powder in the prasadh plate to get Tejal in trouble. Unaware of her ploy, Tejal fills the unwashed plate with fruits. Monikangana’s father meets Monikangana at the hospital and demands money from her. He tells her to reveal her pregnancy to the Majumdar family. Tejal is depressed as she fails to impress Sanyukta. Binoy and Sushila tell her not to give up hope. Monikangana feels guilty when Shashwat curses the anonymous woman who had promised to give him breaking news and fails to deliver it. Sushila teaches Tejal to cook. The Majumdar family plans to visit Monikangana’s father at his house.

Monikangana orders food from outside to fool her in-laws. Binoy and Nikhilesh see the delivery man and question him but Monikangana tells him to lie to them. Monikangana's father also secretly delivers food to her. Monikangana disposes the food she had prepared and replaces it with the hotel food. She plans to get Tejal into trouble by asking her to order food from outside as the food she had prepared will not be sufficient for the family. Sanyukta sees the bill and confronts Monikangana.
Sanyukta accuses Tejal of ordering food from outside to demean Monikangana's cooking skill. Tejal is hurt when she accuses her of envying Monikangana. Monikangana pretends to sympathise with her. Aniket shows the designs that he had drawn for his company to Tejal. Shashwat criticizes the rough sketches Aniket had made in front of the family. Sanyukta tells Sushila to donate old clothes to charity. Monikangana learns about her plan to wear an old saree that Nikhilesh had bought on her birthday.
Monikangana deliberately puts Sanyukta's birthday saree with the old clothes meant for charity. Tejal sells the old clothes to a peddler in exchange for new vessels. Sanyukta rebukes her for selling the old clothes instead of giving them to a NGO for charity. She berates her for selling the saree that Nikhilesh had gifted her, to the peddler. Tejal feels guilty and goes in search of the peddler to retrieve the saree. The family members become anxious when she does not return home.

Shashwat envies Aniket when the family members appreciate his designs on the saree. Sanyukta accepts the saree as a birthday gift from Aniket and Tejal. Sushila and Tejal see Foram's recipe book to bake Sanyukta's birthday cake. Monikangana tears a page from the book to mix up the cake recipe. Foram finds out that a page has been torn and helps Sushila and Tejal in remaking the cake batter but she gets a call in between and asks Monikangana to help them. Monikangana short circuits the oven to prevent them from baking the cake. The entire household loses power supply due to the short circuit. Tejal rewires the fuse and brings the power back
The Majumdar family praises Tejal for bringing the power back. Monikangana disconnects the earthing wire in the meter box. Sanyukta gets electrocuted while switching on the light. Tejal saves her life. She reconnects the earthing wire and locks the meter box. She, Sushila and Monikangana make a timetable of the daily chores to be performed by the three of them as a birthday gift to Sanyukta. The family members eagerly wait to see from whom Sanyukta will ask for a birthday gift this year.
Tejal wishes Sanyukta on her birthday and receives her blessing. Sanyukta plans to celebrate her birthday with the kids in a NGO. Sushila and Monikangana dry papads on the terrace. Tejal impresses Sanyukta by coming up with a plan to dry the papads in a short time. The neighbourhood kids play cricket and break the pickle bottle in Sanyukta's house. Sanyukta refuses to return their ball. Tejal plays cricket with them and ruins the kheer that Sanyukta had prepared for the kids in her NGO.
Sanyukta becomes enraged when Tejal hits the cricket ball into the kitchen and wastes the kheer she had prepared for the kids in her NGO. She asks Tejal not to participate in her birthday celebration as a gift to her. Tejal makes a sorry card for Sanyukta. Sanyukta prepares the kheer once again. She scolds Monikangana for defending Tejal. Monikangana retaliates by switching the rose water with insect repellant. Sanyukta mixes the insect repellant in the kheer instead of the rose water.
The Majumdar family goes to an NGO to celebrate Sanyukta's birthday without Tejal. Sanyukta cuts the cake that Tejal had baked. Tejal sees the insect repellant bottle in the kitchen and realizes that Sanyukta had accidentally added it to the kheer instead of rose water. She calls Aniket to tell him that the kheer is poisoned but Sanyukta asks her family to switch off their mobiles. She goes to the NGO to get rid of the kheer and save Sanyukta's reputation but Monikangana and her father see her
Shashwat criticises Tejal for taking the brides and grooms to the wrong wedding hall and delaying the wedding. Tejal decides to hold the community wedding in the Majumdar house. However, the panditji, decorator and caterer she had booked for the wedding refuse to come to the house. Tejal asks the women from Lalita's self help group to do the catering and the neighbourhood kids to do the decorating. The kids bring a panditji to perform the ceremony. Monikangana plans to ruin it.
Tejal writes down the names of the brides and grooms who are to be paired for the wedding. The list gets recorded in the toy parrot. Monikangana changes the order of the names to get her in trouble. A groom fills a cold drink bottle with liquor. Shashwat drinks it and gets intoxicated. The kids dress him up in groom's attire and make him sit with a bride. Tejal greets the chief guest. She stops the ceremony after learning that the brides and grooms have been mismatched.
The Majumdar family learns that the old man who had mixed alcohol in Shashwat's cold drink is an impostor posing as a groom at the community wedding. Tejal has him arrested. The NGO manager offers to marry the bride who was fooled by the old man. Tejal puts the money she had saved from the wedding budget into fixed deposits for the brides. Sanyukta returns home from the hospital. Shashwat refuses to believe that Sanyukta had given the household responsibility to Tejal.
Monikangana plans to use Shashwat to cause a rift between Sanyukta and Tejal. The doctor asks Tejal to take care of Sanyukta. Tejal gets a wheelchair for her. She accidentally gives Monikangana's pregnancy medicines along with Sanyukta's medicines to the doctor. Monikangana hides about her pregnancy from the family by lying to them about the medicines. Sushila cries about her inability to conceive. Shashwat complains to Sanyukta that the family members have given the house key to Tejal.
Tejal gets a wheelchair for Sanyukta and takes her around the house to supervise the household chores. Monikangana plans to cause a malfunction in the brake of the wheelchair to get her into trouble. Tejal finds out that the laundry man has been cheating Sushila by charging unfair rates for the clothes and exposes his deceit. Shashwat becomes upset when Monikangana refuses to become intimate with him. Monikangana's father asks her to drug Shashwat with sleeping tablets.
Monikangana drugs Shashwat by mixing sleeping tablets in his milk at night. When he wakes up the next morning, she makes him believe that they had consummated their marriage. She secretly switches her father's broken wheelchair with Sanyukta's wheelchair. Tejal and Sushila contact an event company to hire a singing group for a keertan programme at home. Later, Monikangana calls the same event company and changes the instructions to ruin Tejal's plan. Sanyukta fails to regain her voice.
The doctor tells the family that Sanyukta might regain her voice from an unexpected shock. Baa praises Tejal for organising bhajan programme for Sanyukta. Monikangana tells Sushila to invite the neighbours to the programme. The event company sends a music group for a kid's puppet show to the house instead of the bhajan mandali. Tejal and Sushila put up a puppet show about a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law story to entertain everyone. Sanyukta falls off the malfunctioning wheelchair.
Sanyukta regains her voice from the shock of falling off the wheelchair. Tejal saves her. Monikangana spills groceries on the kitchen floor and leaves the water tap open all night to ruin Tejal's morning. She resets the time in the alarm clock so that Tejal gets into trouble for waking up the family at 5 in the morning instead of 6. Tejal is shocked to find the kitchen flooded with water. The family helps her clean the mess. She prepares chaat for breakfast. Sanyukta tells her to buy monthly groceries for the family within the given budget. Monikangana meddles with Tejal’s shopping.
Monikangana switches the vegetarian and non-vegetarian tags in the supermarket so that Tejal buys meat instead of soya chunks for Foram. Tejal cooks the non-vegetarian dish thinking that it is vegetarian. Monikangana stops the family from eating it. Sushila sees the red mark on the packet and tells Tejal that she accidentally bought non-vegetarian food. Sanyukta scolds Tejal for the mistake. Shashwat criticises her for giving the responsibility to Tejal. Tejal misses Gulabchand's birthday.
Aniket surprises Tejal by arranging a birthday party for Gulabchand in the Majumdar house. Sanyukta convinces Gulabchand to accept a gift. The neighbours invite the Majumdar family to compete in the Dandiya competition at the Navratri function. Sushila, Foram and Monikangana argue over who is going to win the competition. They teach Tejal to dance. Sanyukta plans to give a priceless Dandiya to the winner. She becomes shocked to see Monikangana's father Jayesh standing without his wheelchair
Jayesh tries to steal the priceless Dandiya from Sanyukta's handbag at the Navratri function. He sees a thief hiding stolen diamonds worth crores of rupees in the Dandiya. Foram's boyfriend, Abhishek makes a bet with his friends that he can convince Foram to come with him to the farm house. Tejal finds out about the bet. As per the competition rules, Sanyukta's Dandiya are to be passed around the dancers while the music plays and the one who gets them when the music stops is the lucky winner.
Foram wins the Dandiya competition. Sanyukta reveals to everyone that the Dandiya is considered priceless because it was made by blind children. The police search for the diamond thief in the Navratri function. The thief drugs Foram and tries to steal the Dandiya from her. Jayesh fights with the thief for the Dandiya. Tejal threatens Abhishek and his friends when Foram goes missing. Jayesh hides while Tejal saves Foram and handovers both the thief and the diamonds to the police.
Sushila makes Sanyukta realise that Tejal had risked her own life to save Foram from the thief. She convinces Sanyukta to accept Tejal as her daughter-in-law. Sanyukta performs Tejal's griha pravesh. Tejal is elated when Sanyukta asks her to address her as mother. She thanks Sushila for showing her the way to win Sanyukta's heart. Abhishek calls Foram. Tejal warns Foram not to trust him. Foram tells her to stay out of her personal matters. The family prepares a surprise for Tejal and Aniket.
The Majumdar family arranges koda kodi rasam for Aniket and Tejal. Sanyukta tells Sushila to put altha on Tejal's feet. Monikangana switches the altha with sharbat but Sushila finds out about it. Sanyukta gifts jewellery set to Tejal. Jayesh incites Monikangana against Tejal. Aniket informs his family that he will get a promotion if his manager likes his designs. Monikangana switches his designs with the designs she had downloaded from the internet to ruin his presentation.
Monikangana replaces Aniket's designs with the designs she had downloaded from the internet. Unaware of her ploy, Aniket shows the designs to his manager. The Manager accuses him of cheating and fires him from the job. Monikangana asks Aniket not to tell the family that he has lost his job to protect Sanyukta from depression. She convinces him to hide the truth from the family. The family thinks that he has got a promotion. Monikangana tells them about her surprise plan for Aniket.
The family thinks that Aniket has been promoted to the post of senior fashion designer. Aniket feels guilty for hiding the truth from them. Nikhilesh gifts him a pen, Foram gifts him cuff links, Baa gifts a pair of socks and Binoy gifts a tie. Sushila and Tejal gift him shirts. Monikangana switches the boxes so that Aniket wears the shirt that Sushila had bought him. She tells the family to surprise Aniket with a cake in his office. The Manager discloses that Aniket was fired from his job.
Shashwat taunts Aniket for lying about his promotion. Aniket confesses to Sanyukta that he had lied because he did not want to hurt her. Tejal comforts Aniket and encourages him not to give up hope. Aniket rejects her support and orders her to stay away from him. Monikangana tells Sushila that Aniket might lose his confidence because of his fight with Tejal. She asks Sushila to take care of him. Sushila's father asks Aniket to work as his assistant director in a new film.
Aniket accepts the job offer from Sushila's father, Babu Bhai. Sushila and Aniket read the film script together. They rehearse the dialogues all night. Tejal feels left out and falls asleep while waiting for Aniket. Aniket dislikes the climax scene written by Babu Bhai. Tejal offers to help him rewrite it, but he ridicules her. Monikangana asks Sushila to help him with the script writing to create a rift between Tejal and Sushila. Sanyukta and Nikhilesh praise Sushila for managing Aniket well.
Babu Bhai becomes surprised on seeing the script changed by Aniket and appreciates him. Aniket convinces the heroine while she is leaving the shooting set. Monikangana asks Tejal to prepare food for Aniket. Aniket becomes busy with the shooting, while Tejal and Monikangana bring food for him. An actor insults Aniket in front of Tejal and challenges him to perform in front of the camera. As Aniket performs well, Babu Bhai asks him to play the lead role in the film.
Babu Bhai makes Aniket the hero of his new film. Aniket has misgivings about his acting ability. Tejal encourages him to accept Babu Bhai's offer but he rejects her support. She feels bad when Aniket agrees to act after Sushila expresses confidence in his talent. Monikangana points out to Tejal that Aniket listens to Sushila rather than her. She lies to Tejal that Aniket had asked her to leave the shooting set. Tejal sees Abhishek with a girl in a cafe and warns him to stay away from Foram.
Aniket's family congratulates him for getting the lead role in Babu Bhai's film. Aniket credits Sushila for his success. Tejal is upset with Aniket for ignoring her. Aniket is upset with Tejal for not congratulating him. Tejal warns Foram about Abhishek's true character. Foram tells her not to interfere in her personal matters. Monikangana covers up Abhishek's betrayal to incite Foram against Tejal. Jayesh talks to Sanyukta and Nikhilesh about Foram's marriage. Aniket and Tejal patch up.
Foram tells her family that she is in love with Abhishek. Sanyukta plans to meet Abhishek's family. Monikangana asks Tejal to reveal Abhishek's truth to Sanyukta. She gives a gift to Foram and pretends to support her love. She tells Sushila and Foram that Tejal is poisoning Sanyukta's mind against Abhishek. Tejal tells Sanyukta about the bet that Abhishek had made with his friends during the Navratri function and seeing him in a cafe with another girl. Aniket asks her for proof.
Abhishek and his family visit the Majumdar house. Abhishek flatters Foram's family and impresses everyone with his act. Sanyukta fixes Foram and Abhishek's engagement for the next day. Tejal plans to reveal Abhishek's true colours and stop the engagement. She hires an actress named Shweta to carry out her plan. Shweta arranges a date with Abhishek in a restaurant on the day of his engagement to Foram. Tejal takes Sanyukta to the same restaurant. Sanyukta sees Abhishek flirting with Shweta.
Sanyukta orders Abhishek to stay away from Foram. She cancels the engagement and informs the family that she had seen Abhishek on a date with another girl. Foram does not believe that Abhishek is deceiving her. She learns that Tejal had used Shweta to set up Abhishek. She misunderstands Tejal's motive and refuses to forgive her. Binoy and Sushila support Tejal. Aniket scolds Tejal for poisoning Sanyukta's mind against Abhishek and hurting Foram. Monikangana secretly rejoices the family discord.
Babu Bhai congratulates Aniket, the superstar of the new hit movie. Monikangana advises Tejal to speak with Sushila regarding Aniket. Sanyukta panics on learning the clash between Tejal and Sushila. Sushila asks Aniket to sit beside Tejal in the award function, but Monikangana takes the chance. Aniket sits beside Tejal. Aniket is entitled as the best actor by Gujrat Cine Awards. Aniket dedicates the award to Sushila and Sanyukta.
Aniket thanks Sanyukta and Sushila for his success in the award function. Tejal feels bad when he fails to mention her name and leaves the function hall in anger. Aniket calls Tejal on stage to share his award. Monikangana informs him that Tejal has gone home. He becomes irate when Tejal accuses Sushila of ruining her marriage. Tejal sees Aniket's speech in Sushila's mobile and realizes her mistake. She overhears Monikangana poisoning Foram's mind against her. Foram plans to elope with Abhishek.
Tejal apologises to Aniket and Sushila. She finds out that Monikangana is responsible for all the misunderstandings between her and the other family members. She and Sushila come up with a plan to reveal Monikangana's true colours to the family. They pretend to fight in front of Monikangana. Tejal learns that Monikangana is pregnant after seeing a sonography report in her room. She tells Sushila that Monikangana had conceived before the wedding. They plan to tell Sanyukta and Nikhilesh about it.
Sushila and Tejal become suspicious when Monikangana shares her pregnancy news with the family. They overhear Jayesh and his friend who poses as a doctor, plotting to swindle money from the Majumdar family. They find out that Shashwat is not the father of Monikangana’s unborn child. They see Monikangana secretly meeting her boyfriend outside the house. He demands money from Monikangana to keep her secret from her in-laws. Tejal tells Jayesh to meet Mandari Mata to solve his financial crisis.
Mandari Mata tells Jayesh that someone close to him is plotting to deceive him. Jayesh thinks that Monikangana is betraying him after seeing her sneaking out of the house to pay off her boyfriend Rahul with Shashwat's money. Sushila and Tejal reveal Monikangana and Jayesh's deceit to the Majumdar family. Shashwat and Sanyukta are devastated by Monikangana's betrayal. Monikangana claims that her tragic upbringing is the reason for her misdeeds. The Majumdar family forgives and accepts her.
