A bloody coup attempt is taking place in pre-World War II Japan. The team is alerted to a ghoul presence in the middle of that coup and Kiri and Kotoko are dispatched to attack it. When they arrive, Kiri finds that Misaki is already there and learns about what has been causing all of the strange ghoul events.
検査のため入院したライアーに代わり、地球へ調査に向かうことになったキリは、出発前に偶然別の生き方をしているスサーナと出会う。その後、時間障壁を越えたキリ。そこは昭和初期の東京で、今まさに青年将校たちによるクーデターが行なわれようとしていた。そんな彼らの前に出現したスペキュラーにキリが立ち向かう。
Un intento de golpe sangriento está ocurriendo en Japón antes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. El equipo recibe una alerta sobre la presencia de un ghoul en medio de ese golpe y Kiri y Kotoko son enviados para atacarlo. Cuando llegan, Kiri descubre que Misaki ya está allí y se entera de lo que ha estado causando todos los eventos extraños de ghoul.
