Convinced he's got hold of an undiscovered national treasure, Ernest thinks the chess set could be worth as much as £10 million. Auction regulars Sharon and Al from Essex are the king and queen of low-end novelty goods and they sell their weird and wonderful stock at car boot sales. They decide to leave the world of plastic flashing bunny ears and artificial snowballs behind for a weekend away in France where they attempt to clean up at a local auction. There's only one problem - they don't speak a world of French between them.
