Acht Jahre ist es her, dass Autonärrin Helen sich einen Traum erfüllen wollte: Die 53-Jährige hatte sich einen Ford Capri RS 3.1 gekauft und große Pläne damit. Bevor sie ihr Modell von 1974 allerdings komplett umbauen konnte, schlug das Schicksal zu: Seit einem schlimmen Unfall leidet sie an Herzproblemen und rheumatoider Arthritis, die ihr dauerhaft Schmerz bereitet. An eine Restaurierung des Capris ist nicht mehr zu denken. Zum Glück hatten Helens Kinder Rebecca und Rob die Idee, das geniale Team von „Car S.O.S.“ zu Hilfe zu rufen. Tim and Fuzz have taken on the task of restoring a 1974 Mk1 Ford Capri. Its owner, 53 year old Helen, is a lifelong petrol head who bought her dream car nearly 8 years ago with the plan to strip it down and do full nut and bolt rebuild. However after a terrible accident Helen was left with heart problems and in constant pain from severe rheumatoid arthritis the restoration of her Capri was put on hold. Daughter Rebecca and son Rob called Car SOS help put their mother's car back on the road and the gleam back in her eye.
Tim et Fuzz s’attellent à la restauration d’une Ford Capri MK1 de 1974. Helen, sa propriétaire, est une folle de voitures qui a fait l’acquisition du véhicule de ses rêves il y a près de huit ans, dans l’optique de le restaurer de A à Z. Suite à un terrible accident, Helen souffre de problèmes cardiaques et de douleurs continues causées par sa polyarthrite rhumatoïde. La restauration de sa Ford Capri a donc été reportée. Sa fille Rebecca et son fils Rob ont fait appel à l’équipe de Car S.O.S. pour que la voiture retourne sur les routes asphaltées et que les yeux de leur mère brillent à nouveau.
