Während Okamura und Mao auf der Suche nach Kai und ein paar Antworten sind, werden Saya und Hagi von mysteriösen Gestalten festgehalten, die sich ‚Das Schiff‘ nennen.
As Okamura and Mao search for Kai and answers to a few of their questions, Saya and Hagi continue their journey only to be stopped by a mysterious black-hooded group who want more than to start a fight. Calling themselves the Schiff, they have but only one person in mind who they believe is the key to their survival . Now Saya and Hagi must deal with this new threat, but, can they?
Vin Argiano est en Islande, dans un laboratoire aujourd'hui déserté et ayant appartenu à Goldsmith. Tous ses occupants auraient été vidés de leur sang. Il en informe Solomon qui lui demande de rentrer. Okamura et Mao sont en France à la recherche du Château Duel, d'où provient la bouteille que le journaliste a rapporté du Vietnam. Il tombent sur un viticulteur, qui leur raconte l'histoire du château, qui appartenait à un certain Joel Goldschmidt, et qui a brûlé il y a de cela 100 ans. Mais on raconte que tous les habitants du château étaient morts avant l'incendie, vidés de leur sang, et qu'une jeune fille portant une rose bleue hante les lieux...

Saya e Hagi continuano il loro viaggio quando vengono fermati da un misterioso gruppo di incappucciati. Si fanno chiamare i Schiff, hanno solo una persona in mente, che credono essere la chiave per la loro sopravvivenza. Ora Saya e Hagi devono affrontare questa nuova minaccia.

一方、小夜を狙う謎の一団—シフたちもフランスへたどり着いていた。ロシアからしばらく血を摂取していないため弱りきっている小夜に、シフの刃が襲い掛かる……!

El resto de Schiff, sintiendo la muerte de sus dos compañeros, deciden atacar a Saya para beber su sangre. Mao y Okamura, en su viaje, reciben información del Zoológico a manos de un hombre de la zona. Saya y Haji pronto son atacados por los Schiff. Haji lucha contra ellos, esconde a Saya y es herido gravemente. Uno de los Schiff, Ghee, empala a Haji contra un árbol y bebe su sangre, sin embargo, unas grietas llamadas “estigmas” empiezan a aparecer en su cuerpo.
