Lunatic, who was looking down on the battle from the Orbital Elevator, fires a powerful beam into the ground. De strijd gaat verder bij de ruïnes van vuurtoren nummer acht. Lunatic, die de strijd aan het observeren was, vuurt een krachtige straal af naar de oppervlakte. Ondertussen wordt de kolonel aangevallen door Charlotte in de aanpassingsruimte van het lab. Hij staat op het punt voorgoed te worden afgemaakt, maar Empress komt de kolonel redden van zijn naderende dood.
