Nach einer erbitterten Schlacht müssen außerdem Finral und Leopold gegen ihre ersten Gegner bestehen, während Langris in seinem Antrittsduell demonstrieren kann, wie mächtig seine Magie wirklich ist.
Asta and the other Black Bulls continue to fight through stage one of the exam, trying to get to stage two. Magna ends up teaming up with the vice-captain of the Coral Peacocks, Kirsch, also happens to be Mimosa's older brother and Sol from the Blue Rose Knights.
