Fame Is Where You Find It

Všichni se chystají do Palm Springs. Steve zjistí, že tam má David k dispozici dům prarodičů a tak mu řekne, že může jít do Palm Springs s nimi. David se seznámí s dívkou Úterý a pozve jí i její punkové kamarádky na večírek. Ona má o něj ale zájem jen proto, že je David podobný klukovi, který se s ní nedávno rozešel. Brenda se chce v Palm Springs setkat s Dylanem a strávit s ním noc. Zapomene ale jméno hotelu a Dylan potkává svou starou známou. Jediný Brandon musí být v práci. V Peach Pitu se seznamuje s malým Curtisem, který má v plánu ukrást z pokladny peníze.

Wie in kitschigen Romanen erzählt, wird Brandon tatsächlich auf der Straße entdeckt und kurzweg für eine Soap engagiert. Das sorgt für Missstimmung im Hause Walsh, ist doch eigentlich Brenda die, die schauspielerische Ambitionen und auch das Talent in sich trägt. Das jedoch weiß sie bald anders einzusetzen... Brandon verfällt schnell dem süßen Duft des Ruhms und den Lippen seiner Kollegin Lydia Leeds. Da er sich jedoch beim Drehen als Laie - der er ist - erweist, wird er kurzerhand wieder gefeuert, auch von Lydia, von der er sich eigentlich mehr versprochen hätte.

Brandon is rollerblading in the park while the television show Keep It Together is filming an episode. The producers seek him out as an emergency replacement for one of the extras. He hits it off with the star, Lydia Leeds, and is considered for a recurring role. However, Lydia is only using him to make her leading man/boyfriend jealous so that he will end his holdout. Brenda fills in for Brandon at the Peach Pit. She is in over her head until she adopts the persona of Laverne, a sassy, gum-chomping waitress. She quickly charms all of the customers with her wisecracks and lip-synch routines. Brandon a décroché un rôle dans un téléfilm. Mais, le jour de la diffusion, il s'aperçoit qu'il a été coupé au montage...

Brandon viene invitato a partecipare in un programma televisivo. Esaltato dalla proposta non esita e si presenta al programma. Qui però scopre che è stato scelto non per il suo talento, ma soltanto per lanciare un personaggio da tempo dimenticato. Brenda, anche se gelosa dell'opportunità del fratello, accetta di sostituire Brandon al Peach Pit.

Brandon jeździ na rolkach w parku, w którym kręcony jest odcinek serialu "Keep It Together". Producenci szukają zastępstwa dla jednego ze statystów, ale aktorka, Lydia Leeds, przekonuje ich, aby Brandon dostał większą rolę. Niebawem okazuje się, że Lydia tylko posłużyła się chłopakiem, aby zmusić odtwórcę głównej roli do powrotu do serialu. Brenda zastępuje Brandona w Peach Pit, ale nie idzie jej zbyt dobrze. Postanawia przeobrazić się w Laverne, zabawną i bezpośrednią kelnerkę, czym oczarowuje klientów.

Brandon hace un papel con Lydia Leeds en una serie televisiva llamada 'Keep Together', en la que está reemplazando al actor Sean Judson temporalmente, aunque finalmente su escena es eliminada. Brenda está celosa de su hermano, pero ha de suplir a este en el Peach Pit, así que se crea un personaje, Laverne, la camarera, y consigue mucho éxito con ello, el resto de la pandilla es testigo.

Brandon participa de um programa de TV. Brenda fica no seu lugar no Peach Pit, e, para isso, adquire uma nova personalidade ao incorporar "La Verve".
