Cat in fase di riabilitazione a causa del suo incidente, deve sostenere alcune sedute di terapia prima di poter tornare un agente operativo; la detective utilizza questi incontri soprattutto per sfogarsi a causa della situazione con Vincent che, continua a vedere Alex per capire se è ancora innamorato della sua ex ragazza. In una delle sue visite all'ospedale, Cat coglie accidentalmente Alex entrare nel deposito ospedaliero e rubare attrezzature e medicinali; dopo aver rivelato quanto scoperto a Vincent, e che c'è un'indagine aperta per questi furti, la donna gli dice di stare attento perché frequentandola la sua identità potrebbe essere a rischio. Nel frattempo Tess e il resto della omicidi stanno indagando sul caso di una donna che, facendo paracadutismo, è deceduta a causa della mancata apertura di entrambi i paracadute; dalle analisi effettuate da Evan l'assassino è mancino. Alex chiede a Vincent se vuole ricominciare da capo dove erano rimasti anni fa, ma lui afferma che molte cose sono cambiate, a partire da lei che ruba medicinali dall’ospedale. Alex a questo punto, per fargli capire il motivo, porta il ragazzo nel retro di un negozio, luogo adibito a “pronto soccorso” per le persone che non hanno alcuna assicurazione sanitaria e che non possono quindi permettersi cure adeguate: Vincent aiutando queste persone ritrova la sua passione per la medicina e vedendo la sua felicità Alex gli propone di fuggire per tornare ad una vita normale.
