Die Galactica wird durch ein Selbstmordkommando der Cylonen überrascht. Als Folge des Anschlags bricht Feuer auf dem Schiff aus. Commander Adama wird dabei schwer verletzt. Während er mit dem Tode ringt, versucht Lt. Boomer Boxey und Athena vor dem Flammentod zu retten.
