An English tourist and his wife are admitted after a serious car accident. She is in a coma and he is desperate to see her — in spite of his severe chest injuries, which mean that he cannot be moved. When the woman dies of her injuries, Richard Craig instructs Stephanie not to inform the husband which proves to be a difficult task given her close involvement with him.
