本作の主人公は、私立高校で非正規美術講師として働く佐藤民生（渡辺大知）、34歳。非モテの人生を歩む自分にコンプレックスを抱えながら生きていたが、ある日…ふと入った風俗店で出会った女性・せりか（工藤遥）に一目ぼれ。お金や肩書など関係ない“運命の出会い”を感じ、店に通いつめるようになる。客と風俗嬢という関係から始まった民生の恋。せりかとの関係は徐々に接近していき、念願の恋人同士の”ような”関係になるも、せりかとの恋は民生に容赦なく現実を突きつけていく。
