Yamagata Kaori was born February 27, 1963 in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She is a voice actress (seiyuu) and actress affiliated with Bungakuza. Yamagata is active since 1980. She has type AB blood. Her father is theatre director Ousaka Tsutomu (逢坂勉, real name: Yamagato Kunio 山像郁夫), her mother is Nogawa Yumiko (野川由美子, real name: Yamagato Yumiko 山像由美子, his second wife).
