Robert Alda

Robert Alda (born Alfonso Giuseppe Giovanni Roberto D'Abruzzo) enjoyed a long, diverse career that included performances on radio, stage and television. According to Raymond Strait’s 1983 biography of Alan Alda, Robert Alda was one of the first performers on television. In 1960 Alda married Italian actress Flora Marino and moved to Rome, often crossing the Atlantic to work in the United States
