في إطار درامي، تضطر والدة الفتاة الفقيرة زهرة لبيعها لسيدة ثرية تتخذها ابنة وترعاها في قصرها وتٌسرف في تدليلها وتطلق عليها لقب (القطة الرومية)، وتكتب لها ثروتها مما يجعل الفتاة مطمعا للجميع، ولكن زهرة يدفعها الحنين للعودة لتعيش مع أشقاءها، وتستخدم ثروتها للارتفاع بمستوي معيشتهم.
