正木泰斗は、夢を求めて数年前に旅立った父の消息を探るため、島国グラツィアへと向かっていた。船で向かう途中、実験薬「ラビット」で発狂した行方不明の兵士を追うことになる。そして、世界中の戦士が集うスパイラルパレスに住む、グラツィアの 「闘いの神 」クラウス・ダガッツとの関係を知ることになる。
