After introducing himself, the Yliaster trio's duel runners combine to form Aporia's duel runner. Aporia then combines with it in such a way, that the audience are shocked to the point that they begin wondering if he was human at all. Aporia then activates the continuous trap card, Infinite Prison, so that by sending the trap, Infinity Force from his hand to the Graveyard, he can treat Grand Core as a spell card from the graveyard, and then set it face-down in the face-down zone. He then destroys Infinite Prison in order to add Sky Core, Wise Core, and Grand Core to his hand, which had been set face-down. Next, Aporia sends the 3 Machine Emperor Cores to the graveyard, in order to activate the trap card: Genesis of the Machine Emperors, which allows him to special summons his ace monster, Machine Divine Emperor Mechanicle Infinity Cubic. Then, he causes his Machine Divine Emperor to shoot energy into the sky, which results in lightning striking all over New Domino City. Aporia also manages to have his Machine Divine Emperor absorb Shooting Star Dragon, which increases Mechanicle's attack points from 4,000 to 7,300. Aporia then shows more visions of the future, in which he, in the human form of Jakob, is one of the last 4 survivors of a global Ener-D explosion, and an attack by Machine Emperors and Synchro Monsters on Earth, is approached by Z-ONE (his actual name is Yliadus), Paradox, and Bruno in his Vizor adult form, who are the last human survivors on Earth, who agree to try to prevent the disasters from occurring. (This happens after the Machine Emperors-Synchro Monsters War is over.) But one by one, after Aporia makes Z-ONE into a God-like being with the help of Vizor and Paradox, when he realizes that they could not survive forever, Paradox and Vizor, and even Aporia all die, leaving ZONE as the only survivor. Shortly before his death, Aporia begs Z-ONE to resurrect him in the past, in the form of his 3 main counterparts, in order to change the future for the
Aporia invoque son monstre clé, l'Infini Empereur Machine Cubique Divin Machinicle, ce qui crée un champ d'énergie, et amène la foudre à frapper toute la ville de New Domino City. Machinicle absorbe alors le Dragon Étoile Filante. Aporia montre alors des visions du futur, dans lesquels, le seul survivant d'une attaque des Empereurs Mecklord et des monstres Synchros sur Terre supplie Z-One, juste avant sa mort, de le ressusciter dans le passé dans la forme de ses trois incarnations. De retour au duel, Yusei arrive à récupérer le Dragon Étoile Filante, en le détruisant et en le ressuscitant, mais est toujours dans une situation désespérée.
