Lester, der sich als neuer Schüler ausgibt, kommt an die Schule der Zwillinge. Lester strebt danach, die Duelle der Auserwählten zu beobachten. Luna erhält von Lester ein nützliches Geschenk, mit welchem sie Turbo-Duelle austragen kann. Auch Leo erhält von Yusei ein ähnliches, selbst gebautes Geschenk. Leo und Luna treten daraufhin in einem Duell gegen Lester an.
As Yusei and Akiza have a practice Turbo Duel, Leo ponders how he'd fare as a Turbo Duelist. Meanwhile, the Yliaster trio discuss their plans involving the Crimson Dragon, and another tablet crashes into the earth. Later at Duel Academy, a boy named Lester (one of the Yliaster emperors in disguise) enrolls into the school hoping to find out more about Luna, who soon falls in love with Lester. Leo gets annoyed with him asking her so many questions, so Lester uses an illusion to separate him from Luna, and takes her to his mansion. When Leo realizes he's been tricked, he sneaks into the mansion, where Lester shows off an Ener-D powered skateboard that can be used for Turbo Dueling, called a Duel Board, which he gives to Luna. Feeling jealous, Leo begs Yusei to build him his own Duel Board, and spends several days practicing. Luna later joins him in practicing, but they are attacked by another Duel Skater (who is really Lester back in his original dueling outfit) who traps her in a duel. Leo decides to help her, making it a 2 vs 1 duel. They soon realize that the damage is real, and the duelist brings out Machine Emperor Skiel Infinity.
Pendant que Yusei et Akiza font un turbo duel d'entraînement, Lua se demande comment il se débrouillerait en tant que duelliste turbo. Dans le même temps, Yliaster discutent de leurs plans concernant le Dragon Cramoisi, et une autre tablette s'écrase sur Terre. Plus tard à la Duel Académie, un garçon du nom de Lester rejoint l'école espérant en découvrir plus sur Luca. Lester fait une illusion pour empêcher Lua de voir sa sœur partir et quand il réalise qu'il s'est fait piégé, il s'infiltre dans le jardin du château de Lester qui montre à sa sœur un skateboard alimenté par Ener-D qui peut être utilisé dans les turbo duels : le Duel Board. Celui-ci l'offre à Luca et Lua, jaloux, supplie Yusei de lui construire son propre Duel Board. Il passe alors plusieurs jours à s'entraîner. Luca le rejoint alors et s'entraîne avec lui, mais ils sont attaqués par un autre duelliste skater qui piège Luca dans un duel. Lua décide de l'aider, faisant ainsi un duel à 2 contre 1. Bientôt, ils comprennent que les dommages sont réels, et le duelliste invoque un Empereur Machine.
