From relics of the Worlds Fair of 1893, historic murals magnificently restored and the Gold Coast alley still paved with century-old wood blocks to a cow path among the Loop skyscrapers, a 2000-year old Roman column given to Chicago by Benito Mussolini and the remains of a storefront that melted in the Chicago Fire, each one has a fascinating story to tell.
