Written by a Kid premieres Wednesday, July 18th at 10 am PST with "Scary Smash" written by 5-year-old Brett Baligad, directed by Daniel Strange, starring Dave Foley, Kate Micucci and Joss Whedon. All stories are original tales told by the 5-10 year olds in the videos. Upcoming directors include: Rhett & Link, Roque Ballesteros, Jon Sims, Mike Diva and Greg Aronowitz featuring such talent as Michael Busch, Aaron Douglas, Cassandra Peterson and Cory Williams.

HOLIDAY STORY GUIDELINES: 1. Participants must be 12 or under and have parent or guardian's permission. 2. Write and perform an original holiday story in a video. (That means don't use existing music/stories to create your story!) 3. Upload your video to YouTube as a response to this video. 4. Only one story per entrant, please! 5. Your story can be helped by parents, siblings, or guardians, but the story itself needs to be 100% written by a kid. 6. Videos are due at 11:00pm PST on November 1st to qualify. 7. We'll pick our top five to appear on a special playlist on the Geek & Sundry channel. Our very favorite story will be changed into a song created by Mystery Guitar Man in a special holiday episode of Written By A Kid. By submitting your video as a response vido to this video your entry becomes property of Geek & Sundry.
