While Haiti may not suffer the same problems as Ukraine, Yemen or Syria, that doesn’t mean it’s at peace. Ever since the July 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, the Caribbean nation has been swamped beneath an ever-growing tsunami of violence. The violence that’s seen armed gangs seal off the capital and occupy 60 percent of its territory. In today’s episode, we’re both analyzing the thorny issues surrounding armed intervention in Haiti… and trying to figure out if the international community has any other choice.
