Seaview is under polar ice, trying to discover the cause of increased flooding around the world. Nelson finds out that Frost Men are in the process of melting the ice cap. The Seaview's reactor is just what they need to finish the job.
El Seaview consigue emerger muy cerca del casquete polar, pero la temperatura del agua es muy alta para aquella latitud. Cuando observan el exterior, sólo pueden ver fuego. Detrás de él, se esconden unos seres extraterrestres compuestos de hielo que se disponen a emprender la conquista del planeta.
