地球上のすべてのモンスターが絶滅し、地球上のモンスターの時代が終わりを迎えてから約50年が経ちました。人類はついに宇宙に進出し、ギャラクシークライシスと呼ばれる新しい時代が始まりました。スペースペンドラゴンのクルーは、通信が謎の消失を遂げた惑星ボリスの調査を任されました。惑星に到着したクルーは、モンスターが生息し、近くの都市がすべて消滅していることに驚愕します。援軍を待つ間、クルーはこの惑星の背景の謎を解かなければなりません。過去が謎のままだったモンスターテイマーのレイは、彼の過去を知るためにZAPスペイシーに加わりました。
