Chode is enlisted by a mysterious figure to implant a huge monolith on the planet Kubrickia. Turns out that Darph Bobo (the mysterious figure) is using the monolith as a Trojan Horse of sorts to enslave the Kubrickians and plunder the planet's gold. An incensed Six convinces Chode that they must follow the Prime Directive and leave primitive people in peace. The crew (minus Whip, who is left alone on the ship) set forth to free the Kubrickians without the Dark Clowns discovering their plans.
Ardillon est recruté par un mystérieux personnage pour installer un gigantesque monolithe sur la planète Kubrickia. Darph Bobo (le mystérieux personnage) utilise ce monolithe comme une sorte de cheval de Troie pour asservir les Kubrickiens et piller l'or de la planète. Sixe révoltée, convainc Ardillon de laisser les peuples primitifs en paix.
