Die Augen der Welt blicken auf Großbritannien, als die '456' ankündigen: 'Wir sind hier'. Eine Säule aus Feuer geht über London nieder. Die Mitglieder von Torchwood ziehen entschlossen ins Gefecht und müssen auch Freunde und Familie beschützen, weil der Kampf immer persönlicher geführt wird. Aber Clems Erinnerungen könnten alles zerstören...

The eyes of the world turn to Britain, as the 456 announce, 'We are here'. As a pillar of fire descends upon London, the members of Torchwood must battle to protect their own families, as the fight gets personal. But will Clem's memories destroy everything?

Le jour J est arrivé ! Selon les enfants du la planète toute entière, "ils" arrivent aujourd'hui. Le Premier Ministre fait une déclaration à la télévision, demandant à la population de rester calme et garder les enfants à la maison jusqu'à nouvel ordre. L'équipe de Torchwood enfin réunie fait le point sur les moyens à leur disposition. Face à ce piète constat, ils décident d'user de méthodes radicales pour se préparer à la menace imminente...

Ianto porta Jack, Gwen e Rhys in un magazzino abbandonato che fino al 1995 era la sede di Torchwood Uno e, con qualche furto, ricostruiscono un piccolo centro operativo. Intanto i bambini si bloccano ancora indicando un punto nel cielo ed esclamando "siamo arrivati": in cielo una colonna di fuoco si indirizza alla stanza fatta costruire da Frobisher.
