Durch eine List erreicht Jerry, dass Tom des Hauses verwiesen wird. Nun hat die Maus die ganze Wohnung für sich allein. Doch ohne seinen Kontrahenten ist das Leben ganz schön langweilig!
After being framed by Jerry for breaking something, Tom is thrown out of the house by Mammy. Jerry is overjoyed that he has finally won. He sleeps in Tom's bed, drinks his milk, and makes himself comfortable in Tom's place. After a while, Jerry gets really bored and lonely over the fact that no one is chasing him. There's nothing to do. So, Jerry goes outside to find Tom, and Mammy screams for Tom to get the mouse out of the house. Tom chases Jerry all over the house for pretend to satisfy Mammy. Once Tom claims his territory again, Jerry comes back and makes Tom angry. And the chase starts all over again. Jerry is glad to have the excitement back.
Après avoir été piégé par Jerry pour avoir cassé quelque chose, Tom est jeté hors de la maison par Mammy. Jerry est ravi d’avoir enfin gagné. Il dort dans le lit de Tom, boit son lait et se met à l’aise à la place de Tom. Au bout d’un moment, Jerry s’ennuie vraiment et se sent seul sur le fait que personne ne le poursuit. Il n’y a rien à faire. Alors, Jerry sort pour trouver Tom, et Mammy crie à Tom de sortir la souris de la maison. Tom poursuit Jerry dans toute la maison pour faire semblant de satisfaire Mammy. Une fois que Tom revendique à nouveau son territoire, Jerry revient et met Tom en colère. Et la poursuite recommence. Jerry est heureux de retrouver l’excitation.

Jerry har sönder en vas och Tom får skulden för detta och blir utsparkad. Jerry firar sin nyvunna frihet, men får ganska snart tråkigt. Han inser snart att han saknar Tom och kommer på en plan att få in honom. Tillsammans hjälps de åt för att få in honom i huset, vilket fungerar. Snart återgår det hela till det normala.
