Thomas sieht zum ersten Mal einen Regenbogen. Er ist ganz begeistert. Als ihm Edward dann auch noch erzählt, dass am Ende des Regenbogens ein Schatz verborgen ist, macht sich Thomas sofort auf die Suche. Er dampft kreuz und quer über die ganze Insel. Doch es gelingt ihm nicht den Regenbogen zu erreichen. Wo er auch hinkommt, der Regenbogen scheint immer schon weiter gezogen zu sein.
Thomas sees a glorious rainbow in the Sodor sky, upon the ending of a great storm. After confiding with Edward, who says that rainbows hold something magical at the end, Thomas sets out to find just what that something could be, but neglects the fact he has work to do.
Tomek zauważa tęczę i postanawia odszukać jej koniec. Tak bardzo chce znależć koniec tęczy, że jest nieostrożny i żle wykonuje zadania. Po wypadku nie szuka już końca tęczy, tylko starannie wykonuje swoja pracę. Gdy wraca do Domkowa, zauważa nad nim koniec tęczy.
