John-Boy hat die kleine Muffin mit nach Hause gebracht. Sie gibt vor, auf der Durchreise zu sein und ihre Mutter verfehlt zu haben. Die Waltons sammeln, um das Fahrgeld für das arme Mädchen zusammenzubringen. Doch die Kleine sagt nicht die Wahrheit.

John-Boy meets up with a runaway girl named Muffin who's 12 years old. Muffin tells him that she was abused and is trying to find her mother. John-Boy takes her home and she fools everyone but Grandpa.
