《阿凡提的故事》是上海美术电影制片厂于1980年发行的一部木偶动画电影。由曲建方担任导演。 以传说人物阿凡提为主角，整部动画电影分为十几个小故事。阿凡提倒骑毛驴滑稽而幽默的形象和他使人忍俊不禁的笑话，不仅中国维吾尔族人民家喻户晓，而且中国各族人民也非常熟悉，并且在世界范围内广为流传。据有关专家研究，它最初起源于十二世纪的土耳其。由于阿凡提的笑话体现了劳动人民勤劳、乐观、豁达向上、富于智慧和正义感，因而受到许多国家人民的喜爱，传遍了小亚细亚及中东、巴尔干半岛、高加索、中亚和中国新疆。
