Mother and Child Reunion

Romeo's mother visits from New York with news that she plans to leave her husband and start a new life in Chicago. Meanwhile, Regina hints that she wants her friends to throw her a party to celebrate her 10th anniversary as Booker T.'s principal. - - - In response to Regina's repeated hints, the faculty and students set out to honor her 10th anniversary as principal. While Lydia tries collecting donations, her lack of success prompts Steve to turn the task over to Coretta. And as Lovita assembles decorations and food, Cedric promises he'll deliver Regina to the surprise party on time. Meanwhile, when Romeo's mother arrives unexpectedly and needs a place to stay, Cedric and Lovita insist she move in with Steve. And while Steve encourages her to take her son home to New York, Carmen announces she has left her husband and is moving back to Chicago. Although Steve would like nothing better than to have Carmen make up with her husband, she is determined to stay. But once Romeo hears the n
