Today on The Skid Factory We're swapping out the GTX3584RS on Timmy's Turbo VQ35DE Datsun Bluebird for a larger G40 turbo. To complement the bigger turbo we're also fitting a GFB EX44 Wastegate and fabricating a 4" into 3.5" Stainless Steel TIG welded Exhaust system. Timmy has featured on the show many times helping us out with wiring and showing off his Datsun products from One Six Industries. He has a couple of cool Dattos and since we were doing some work on this one for him we thought we'd show it off before getting stuck into the job. The Current setup consists of a VQ35 bottom end from a Nissan Elgrand with Wiseco Pistons and Eagle Conrods mated to VQ30 Cylinder Heads with HKS MLS Gaskets, ARP L19 Head studs and VQ35 Kelford Camshafts and Valve Springs. Previously Timmy had fitted a GT3582 (Too small) followed by an BW-S362 (A bit lazy) and it currently has a GTX3584RS (Turbine to restrictive) Timmy's always looking for more and ever-evolving vehicle hence why we're changing
