With a Stout Barra up front and the ever ready TH400 trans backing it up, the next in line for the powertrain is a big tailshaft and strong rear axle and differential. In this episode Matt from Rogan Industries takes the reigns to fabricate a triangulated four link 9" rear axle complete with 35 spline Race Products Floating hubs and a Harrop Eaton True Trac diff centre for the ultimate rear end setup. Connecting the TH400 to the new diff is a GJ Drivelines cromoly single piece shaft. The wagon is a big unit, with a full chassis and all the luxuries it's going to tip the scales close to 2000 kg so a good set of brakes is required to pull it up safely. Hopper Stoppers supplied a full front brake setup to match the rear FG falcon brakes. Hoppers Stoppers billet 4 piston front calipers are made right here in Australia and matched to a 300mm Falcon rotor they provide incredible stopping power while still fitting under a traditional 15" wheel.
