Da Bart wegen schlechter Noten und schlechtem Betragen von der Schule gewiesen wird, beschließen Homer und Marge, ihn in ein katholisches Internat zu geben. Als Bart den Pater Sean kennenlernt, beschließt er, gegen den Willen seiner Eltern, katholisch zu werden. Empört stellt Homer Pater Sean zur Rede, aber als es aus der Internatsküche nach Pfannkuchen riecht, beschließt auch Homer, katholisch zu werden. Es kommt zu einem ausgiebigen Streit zwischen Katholiken und Protestanten, bis Bart beide Parteien dazu bringt, ihre Auseinandersetzungen zu beenden, da es eigentlich mehr Gemeinsamkeiten als Streitpunkte gibt.

Bart is given the role of a cooper in the school's medieval festival, while Lisa is the queen. Bart is blamed and expelled when rats come out of large pie that is presented to the queen. Marge looks for a new school for Bart and decides to try out a Catholic school. In his first day at school Bart encounters a tough nun and Father Sean. Bart takes a liking to Father Sean and begins to embrace the Catholic faith, which concerns Homer and Marge. Homer goes to the school with the purpose of taking Bart out of school, only to himself being converted before the night is through. With her husband and son gone Marge finds herself alone at church. Reverend Lovejoy tells her that when they die she and Homer will be going to different heavens. Marge, Ned and Reverend Lovejoy go to Homer and Bart's first communion class to at the very least liberate Bart from becoming Catholic. To bring Bart back to his old religion they take him to a religious festival. Father Sean and Homer arrive hoping to take Bart back, but Bart in one his rare moments of insight brings both sides together, that is until 1,000 years later.

Mme Krapabelle annonce aux enfants que l'école va organiser un festival médiéval. Pour cela, elle est chargée de distribuer les rôles ; elle donne celui du tonnelier à Bart. Lisa, quant à elle jouera la reine. Le festival se déroule bien jusqu'à ce que des rats envahissent la salle. Pensant que cette mauvaise blague est de Bart, Skinner décide de l'exclure définitivement de l'école ! Marge pense alors qu'il serait intéressant d'envoyer Bart dans une école catholique. Ses premières heures sont difficiles car il doit se plier à une discipline à laquelle il n'est pas habitué. Durant une punition, il fait la connaissance du père Sean qui lui ouvre les yeux de la sagesse et de la religion catholique. Homer, refuse que son fils change de religion. En allant le chercher à l'école, il tombe sur le père Sean, qui le convainc lui-aussi de se convertir au catholicisme. Marge refuse d'en entendre parler...

Dopo essere stato espulso dalla sua vecchia scuola, Bart frequenta un collegio cattolico. Decide così di convertirsi.

Depois de algumas peripécias na feira medieval da escola, Bart é expulso da escola. Marge procura uma nova escola para o filho e decide matriculá-lo numa escola católica. Bart fica muito próximo do Padre Sean e ele e Homer acabam por se converter ao catolicismo. O Reverendo Lovejoy, Ned Flanders e Marge tentam que Bart não se torne católico e levam-no a um festival religioso. Na tentativa de não perderem Bart, o Padre Sean e Homer juntam-se ao festival e Bart, num dos seus raros momentos de reflexão, consegue juntar as duas facções.

Bart es expulsado del colegio y sus padres se ven obligados a ingresarlo en una escuela católica privada. Allí, el padre Sean utiliza los cómics para aficionar a Bart al catolicismo, lo cual preocupa a sus padres, que pretenden que Bart siga siendo protestante. Cuando Homero va a quejarse ante el padre Sean, éste pulsa las teclas adecuadas para poner a Homero de su lado, lo cual acaba provocando un enfrentamiento entre los católicos y los protestantes de Springfield.

Bart é expulso da escola e matriculado em um colégio católico, onde faz amizade com um padre que deseja converter pai e filho ao catolicismo.
