Andrew McClaren hat für die Firma "Anderson Technology" eine Zeitmaschine erfunden. Kurz vor dem entscheidenden Test wird er entlassen. Weil er die Maschine selbst testen will, bricht er nachts in die Firma ein. Er reist in die Zukunft - und findet seine Frau Susan ermordet vor. Zurück will er Susan warnen, doch die nimmt ihm die Geschichte nicht ab. Sie trennt sich von ihm, und damit nimmt die Geschichte ihren tragischen Lauf. Am Ende sterben sowohl Susan als auch Andrew.
When Andrew McLaren is fired from his job at Anderson Technology, he suspects that he's being let go because the company president doesn't want to give him credit for his work on the CPS-1200, an as-yet untested time machine. Defiant, Andrew decides to take a trip in the machine. When he reaches his destination, two days in the future, his head is throbbing with a migraine and he is shocked to find that the police are looking for him. Fleeing the lab, he returns home to discover his wife lying in a pool of blood and a man fleeing the scene in a car. Shocked at his discovery, Andrew is determined to use his time machine to change what happened.

Cuando Andrew McLaren es despedido de su trabajo en Anderson Technology, sospecha que lo están despidiendo porque el presidente de la compañía no quiere darle crédito por su trabajo en el CPS-1200, una máquina del tiempo aún no probada. Desafiante, Andrew decide hacer un viaje en la máquina. Cuando llega a su destino, dos días en el futuro, le duele la cabeza con una migraña y se sorprende al descubrir que la policía lo está buscando. Huyendo del laboratorio, regresa a su casa para descubrir a su esposa tendida en un charco de sangre y a un hombre que huye de la escena en un automóvil.
