Die Auktion wird von der Schauspielerin Bette Midler erfolgreich geleitet: Tom ersteigert für seinen 14-jährigen Sohn Keith einen Tag mit Fran und zahlt dafür 5.000 Dollar. Der Junge ist ein begnadeter Klavierspieler und soll einmal Konzertpianist werden. Daher nötigt ihn Fran, in einem Altenheim für Senioren zu spielen. Als er jedoch Zeuge wird, wie ein Opa dabei tot umfällt, will er nie wieder spielen. Erst Grace kann Keith zum Einlenken bewegen: Im Tausch für ein Date mit Maggie will er sich wieder ans Klavier setzen. C.C. ersteigert bei der Auktion einen Tag mit Niles. Sie denkt sich etliche Schikanen aus und piesackt den Butler genüsslich.
Fran offers herself for the charity auction Mr. Sheffield is putting together with Bette Midler. A gifted 10 year old pianist, son of a big time investor, wins the auction and gets to have Fran as his babysitter for 5,000 dollars. Fran takes him to Yetta's retirement home and while entertaining the elderly with his piano skills, one senior collapses and dies in front of the kid. Shocked, he says he will never play again, and his father cancels the 5 million he promised to invest. Bette Midler goes to the mansion herself to teach Fran a lesson, but luckily Gracie picked up a few things from Fran over the past 4 years, which is enough to convince the kid to play again and his father not to back out on the investment.

Fran se ofrece a se subastada en una subasta de caridad que organiza el Sr. Sheffield con Bette Midler. Un niño pianista, de 10 años, hijo de un gran inversor, gana la subasta y consigue tener Fran como su ninñera por 5.000 dólares. Fran lo lleva al asilo de Yetta y mientras que entretiene a los ancianos con sus habilidades al piano, un anciano se derrumba y muere delante del niño. Impresionado, él dice que nunca más tocará el piano, su padre cancela los 5 millones que él prometió donar. Bette Midler va a la mansión para dar una lección a Fran, pero Gracie aprendió afortunadamente algunas cosas de Fran en los últimos 4 años, consiguiendo convencer al niño de que toque otra vez y a su padre de que no retire la donanción.
