It's the run-up to Easter and everyone is busy. Verger Alex Carberry has to overcome a fear of heights to drape a cloth over a giant crucifix, the Minster police react to an emergency call, and the stonemasons prepare for one of their most important jobs for hundreds of years - carving a new version of the mysterious weathered figure at the pinnacle of the East Window.
The stone carvers are hard at work at York Minster as the building goes through a £20 million restoration programme. But they're up against it - have they got enough time to replace the mysterious weathered statue that sits above the east window. Meanwhile back inside the Minster, the girl choristers are getting ready for their first major performance on etheir own.
