Anytime Kevin Steen talks the wrestling fans listen and always want more. Well, Highspots.com has listen to those fans that demand more and that is why we are giving you, The Kevin Steen Show. We provide Kevin with a set and camera crew and the rest is up to him. Which could ended up being a legal nightmare for us but that's what we signed up for I guess. This debut episode is a perfect example of that. Kevin decided to have Michael Elgin on as his debut guest. Steen gets Elgin to talk about a wide variety topics from his conception in Mexico to his birth which ruined his moms chances to be in the movie "Over the Top" to wearing awful wrestling gear to golden showers. So yeah, Kevin is not your run of the mill interviewers. Also, making maybe a one off appearance as Kevin's co host is, Cheeseburger. Needless to say he is no Ed McMahon but he did challenge Elgin to an arm wrestling match. Any bets on who won? This interview is unlike any other in the Highspots.com Interview Series and that's what Kevin Steen wanted and has delivered.
So, we did this "AMAZING" interview with Adam Cole and before we could release our interview every shoot interview company released their own Adam Cole Shoot Interview. Well instead of flooding the market with another Adam Cole Shoot Interview we decided to put Adam on The Kevin Steen Show. Because much like Jay-Z if you just put Kevin Steen on the track it will be a hit. Kevin wasn't the only big gun that Highspots.com pulled out for this interview. A half awake $5 Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Freight Train randomly walks in from the other room where he was sleeping on to the interview set. It took a lot but with full confidence we at Highspots.com can say this is a MUST SEE Adam Cole Interview.
Kevin sits down with the Super Smash Bros. Their discussion touches on everything from Player Uno's homeless dad to Stupefied being considered an asshole by many to Kevin messing up Player Uno's back forever and Stup's run-in with a motorcycle gang. WARNING This interview contains a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla love-fest. So, if you hate PWG, not only are you a awful person but this interview isn't for you. Which is fine...Chances are we don't like you either. I mean, come on! PWG!!! IT'S THE BEST!!!
At 2:37 am to be exact, Kevin shares a conversation and a pizza with the Young Bucks. Several controversial topics are covered such as their obsession with Super Kicks and their relationship with PWG referee Rick Knox. Also, something about not shaking hands with someone is brought up. I can't remember...it was pretty late and pizza makes me sleepy.
The Kevin Steen Show is back and so is the Kane mask. Kevin sits down with ROH Superstar & Monster Energy drink fanatic, Eddie Edwards. This episode of The Kevin Steen Show was filmed right before Eddie got on a plane for a tour of Mexico. We felt like it would be a good idea to get him on camera before we left just in case he got kidnapped by the drug cartel in Mexico. Luckily Eddie made it back home safely. So, in this non-memorial edition of The Kevin Steen Show Eddie talks about his life as a fat kid, his sweet dreads, being a young boy for Pro Wrestling NOAH and how hard it really is to catch a flight after drinking all night. Also, did we mention that we talked about Eddie's sweet dreads? Well, sit back pop open a Monster Energy Drink or beer and enjoy The Kevin Steen Show with Eddie Edwards.
Kevin Steen busts out a new episode of "The Kevin Steen Show" with special guest, Jay Lethal! Ooooh yeeeaahh!! Wikipedia man was on point for this episode and he need to be because we had HUGE TV star Jay Lethal on The Kevin Steen Show. Kevin and special co-host, Zane Riley had a well informed conversation with Jay about his early years of his career in JAPW and Ring of Honor. Although, Wikipedia man forgot to mention Papa Lethal's unmeasurable hatred for Larry Zbyszko. The fun begins when Jay starts talking about his time in TNA and how his backstage impersonations became the thing that pushed his career forward. And in a Kevin Steen Show exclusive you get to hear Jay's impersonation of Kevin Nash. Who knows you may see The Lethal Diesel on your wrestling TV program sometime soon. So sit back and enjoy Kevin Steen Show fans and Wikipedia man because you got a lot to learn about Jay Lethal.
Tomato? Tommaso? Same thing. The only difference is Tommaso packs one heck of a punch, just ask anyone who grew up with him. In this episode of The Kevin Steen Show we sit down with The Sicilian Psychopath, Tommaso Ciampa. We discuss everything from grade school fights with other kids, to middle school fights with other kids, to high school fights with other kids. All the important issues are covered with the man who is lovely nicknamed, Dumb Ass Tomato. When we finally get around to talking about wrestling, it starts very positive but turns sour very quickly. Tommaso quickly went from being on Smackdown with the Undertaker to hating life in OVW. The Art of Wrestling podcast covered the dark times that followed, but we get into the comeback that is now in full swing for Tommaso. The Sicilian Psychopath's interview on The Kevin Steen Show is one of our best because crazy people aren't so Fn boring.
Normally when a guest on The Kevin Steen Show sees the Kane Mask on set, it is always a great ice breaker, and Nigel McGuinness is no exception. Unlike all the other guests, the sight of the Kane Mask brings up a extremely low point in Nigel's life were he was forced to dress up like Kane himself on a tour in England. Somehow this story didn't make the cut on Nigel's great documentary, "The Last of McGuinness". Speaking of Nigel's documentary, Kevin digs even further into Nigel's thought process behind the project and some of the powerful issues that it brought up. Kevin even does some personal inventory of his own about his feelings on success and failure. Luckily for these searching souls, this episode was filmed on a couch that may or may nothave been in a psychiatrist's office before it landed in Nigel's swank LA apartment. Anyways, we hope you are ready watch Steen dig deep into Nigel's psyche of our "mate" and yours, NigelMcGuinness on The Kevin Steen Show. Cheers!
