2096年4月を向かえ、二年生に進級した達也の身の回りには色々な変化があった。達也と美月は新設された魔法工学科に転科。幹比古は二科から一科へと転科した。また達也と深雪は四葉本家から使用人として使わされた水波と同居することになり、三人での生活が始まった。今年こそ平穏な学生生活を、と願って登校する達也だが、新入生は七草家の双子である香澄・泉美と、新入生総代で七草家に対抗意識を持つ七宝琢磨と、一癖も二癖もある顔ぶればかりだった……。

Tatsuya und Mizuki wechseln in den neuen Studiengang für Zauberentwicklung und auch Mikihiko wechselt von Kurs 2 zu Kurs 1. Außerdem leben Tatsuya und Miyuki nun zusammen mit Minami, die von der Familie Yotsuba zu ihnen geschickt wurde. Tatsuya beginnt das neue Schuljahr in der Hoffnung auf ein friedliches Studentenleben, aber das neue Jahr bedeutet auch die Ankunft neuer Studenten wie Kasumi und Izumi, die Zwillinge der Saegusa-Familie, sowie Shippō Takuma, dem neuen Jahrgangsbesten, der mit der Familie Saegusa verfeindet ist.
Em uma nova turma, Tatsuya e Miyuki começam uma nova fase e recebem poderosos novos estudantes. Só o tempo dirá se são aliados ou inimigos.
