David è arrestato per aver rubato una mela, e con un processo sommario viene condannato a scontare 60 giorni nel campo di rieducazione nella contea di Jensen. Oltre ai maltrattamenti, le guardie illecitamente affittano i detenuti alle aziende agricole e vi prendono soldi. I detenuti organizzano evasioni, che falliscono perché tra di loro c'è una spia (Harris Stock). Questi fatti, e la notizia dell'avvistamento di Hulk, vi fanno giungere McGee. Lo sceriffo e le guardie vengono arrestati.
