The Ghost Busters

A live-action Saturday-morning show about two men (Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker) and Tracy The Gorilla (Bob Burns), their side-kick; who are "ghost busters" that fight the ghosts of historical villains. At the beginning of each episode, the trio get a taped message outlining their new mission. Once the message plays, the recording self destructs. The Ghost Busters then head out to find, capture, or get rid of the supernatural being. In almost every case, the various creatures end up in the old castle. The various creatures they encountered included Vikings, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, vampires, gypsies, werewolves, and of course, various ghosts.

Spencer, Kong et le gorille Tracy sont des détectives spécialisés dans le paranormal. Le bureau des chasseurs se trouve au rez-de-chaussée d'un bâtiment désaffecté. Lorsqu'il reçoivent un appel d'un client, qui a généralement des problèmes avec un fantôme ou un monstre, notre trio s'équipe de matériel fait maison plutôt rudimentaire et part à la chasse au monstre.

Jack Kong, Eddie Spencer e Grunt si presentano come gli "Acchiappafantasmi", maldestri investigatori paranormali. Kong (Tucker) è stato il leader del trio con Spencer (Storch) come partner, e Grunt (Tracy, un gorilla, interpretato da Bob Burns) come loro aiutante che ha anche guidato il loro trabiccolo a malapena funzionante. Il loro quartier generale era situato in un edificio per uffici in una città non specificata (Il nome di Spencer sulla porta è stato scritto male "Spenser", mentre nei titoli di testa il suo nome è "Spencer"). L'ufficio si presentava fatiscente, con carta da parati scollata, con normali apparecchiature e un grande armadio su cui Grunt appendeva numerosi cappelli compreso il suo cappellino marchio di fabbrica. L'unico mezzo di comunicazione con i potenziali clienti come Acchiappafantasmi è un telefono pubblico vicino alla porta di ingresso.
