Jons schreckliche Tante Ivy quartiert sich bei Jon ein. Obwohl Jon sich alle Mühe gibt, Tante Ivy zu ertragen, ist er schnell mit den Nerven am Ende. Garfield bringt ihn auf die Idee, Tante Ivy bei seinem Bruder Doug Boy abzuladen. Doch dieser ist wenig begeistert davon. Kurzerhand bringt er Tante Ivy zu Jon zurück. Und dann kommt es für Garfield richtig schlimm, denn Tante Ivys supernervige Nichten Drusilla und Minerva fallen auch noch bei Jon ein. Sofort stürzen sie sich auf Garfield. Jon und Doug Boy versuchen, sich gegenseitig die grausame Verwandtschaft aufzuhalsen. Aber erst Garfield scheint die rettende Idee zu haben. Doch dann verdoppelt sich der Albtraum.
Aunt Ivy's house is being rid of mice and she has to stay at Jon's home for a week. Then, Druscilla and Minerva show up, and Jon is so annoyed with them that he tries to get them to stay at Doc Boy's farm. But Doc Boy doesn't want to put up with them either.
Elvi-täti majoittuu Eskon luo talonsa tuholaismyrkytyksen ajaksi, ja pian paikalla ovat myös Drusilla ja Minerva. Esko yrittää päästä tilanteesta kyyditsemällä sukulaiset veljensä luo maalle.
