Ryan Wilder/Red Death colpisce Central City con un blackout, cattura Flash e lo teletrasporta nei propri laboratori, dove Mark/Chillblaine sta finendo di costruirle il Tapis Roulant Cosmico. Iris riceve a casa la visita di Ryan Wilder, ma capisce che si tratta di una Ryan diversa, che proviene da un'altra linea temporale. Non potendo convincere Iris con le buone, Ryan la rapisce e la usa come ostaggio per convincere Flash ad alimentare il Tapis Roulant Cosmico correndo, ma Mark/Chillblaine ha un ripensamento e decide di aiutare Flash distruggendo il Tapis Roulant. Il Team Flash chiede aiuto a Hartley/Il pifferaio, Goldface e Birch/Hotness che irrompono nel laboratorio di Red Death e liberano Barry ed Iris, ma non riescono a recuperare anche Mark che rimane prigioniero di Red Death e dei nemici.
Team Flash hat zunächst keine Ahnung, wer Red Death ist. Doch bald gibt sich ihre neue Gegnerin als Ryan Wilder zu erkennen. Sie kommt aus einer anderen Zeitlinie und hat einen perfiden Plan: Red Death will sich mithilfe einer speziellen Konstruktion durch Flash mit Energie versorgen lassen. Die Rogues nehmen ihn zu diesem Zweck gefangen. Mark verfolgt derweil seine eigenen Ziele.
