Rudy ha ottenuto un posto da titolare nella squadra di football e così potrà essere compagna di squadra dell'amico Peter. Da subito la piccola dimostra una impressionante abilità nel gioco ma Clair teme che possa farsi male ed è quindi riluttante ad andare a vedere la prima partita. Salvo poi cambiare completamente atteggiamento dopo aver visto all'opera Rudy.
