God of War is one of my favorite series of all time. The brutal journey of Kratos butchering gods, killing Ares to become the god of war himself, and amazing world building with mythos is just some of the appeals of this game. I was happy to know there were more God of War games for me to play, but I was a bit cautious when I found out God of War Ghost of Sparta was for the PSP (luckily I played in on PS3 in the remastered edition). PSP games tend to suffer from...distinct issues. I didn't want that to affect my next Kratos gameplay, but this Ghosts of Sparta playthrough did not disappoint! A game where we get some backstory on Kratos. Traveling to Atlantis to discover he has a brother Deimos, who is held in thrall by Thanatos, where Kratos must get angry and kill pretty much everything in his way.
