After escaping from almost being pummeled by Ridge, Rick turns to Eric for support. Eric learns the truth behind why his designs were stolen and decides to puts Rick’s fate with the company in the hands of the family. Frightened by nearly losing Steffy the way he lost Phoebe, Ridge pleads with his daughter to stay away from Rick. Seeing how her father is hurting, Steffy makes a self-sacrificing promise to him. Later, Rick surprises Steffy and tells her that he can’t accept that they are over.
