Off of British Columbia, four anglers use unfamiliar techniques to land Chinook salmon. Inland, they fly fish for bull trout, before going after one of the largest freshwater fish in the world, the white sturgeon.
After going for vundu catfish in the Zambezi river, the three finalists trade their modern gear for bamboo poles and dugout canoes. They'll finish up with one of the most fearsome fish in Africa, the tigerfish.
