For much of the 1970s, art instructor Dan Mihuta was giving lessons on the closed-circuit school television system at Parma, Ohio. His lessons caught the attention of Donna Matson, president of Western Instructional Television. The result was The Art Chest, the first of three art instruction series Mihuta produced for nationwide audiences. There is no editor for this show.
