The Girl in the Train

Nachdem der aus reichem Hause stammende George Rowland (Osmund Bullock) wegen ständiger Unpünktlichkeit seinen Job verliert, will er sich erst einmal auf neue Abenteuer einlassen. Ein solches fängt bereits beim Antritt einer Reise an, als eine hübsche junge Dame in sein Zugabteil stürzt. Die in Rot gekleidete Frau fleht ihn an, sie vor ihrem Onkel zu verstecken. George übernimmt gerne die Rolle des Beschützers und kommt mit der geheimnisvollen Dame namens Elizabeth ins Gespräch. Die attraktive Lady gibt sich jedoch äußerst schweigsam darüber, warum sie vor dem Onkel flüchtete. Als sie aussteigt, bittet sie George um einen ungewöhnlichen Gefallen.
